Well what an amazing start to the day, full English, unlimited toast, juice, tea/coffee after that fishing was just second best !!

Meeting down at the lake, most of us having never fished it, advice was taken from those who had, and we decided to take all the pegs down the centre of the lake.  Reports of plenty of room and easy access being the options.  (this later transpired that maybe we shouldn’t listen to those who think they know 😉 )

Draw was made and every one was optimistic, except the grumpy old men who are never happy.

The sun was beaming down on us today, with reports of showers it was a welcome surprise.  Hopefully this meant the fish will be feeding.

Halfway through the match about only about 4 people had actually had anything worth weighing in, all from the same end of the lake, proving the fish were all at the top end.

With Rich pulling in carp one after another, on rod and on pole there was no stopping him.

With all out, many were happy it was over !!

Another great day had by all and a personal best caught by our winner on this match, well done.

Our last match for the season is next month, and the league is very much still open, especially when you consider we only take the best out results out of the 10 matches..
