Match 7 – Issak Walton – Canal Pool – 24th July 2022 – 13 fished
A venue we have just visited, but this time on a lake we have not fished before. A lovley canal style lake with well spaced pegs and plenty of small F1s and carp upto about 3lb.
Only myself venturing for the breaksfast after the rush and delays last time. But I can tell you it was everyone else who missed out, a lovely breakfast was eaten by yours truely.
Scott seemed to have the best day out of everyone, catching shallow on casters, but fished the peg well and kept catching even when the shallow when slow.
Everyone catching is always a good sign and with Mark on Golden Peg again, the expectation was he would take the win. However, Scott is back to form with 3 wins in a row now, he is dominating the league again. Can Mark hold off his advances… only 3 matches to go and time will tell.
1st – Scott Harding (78lb 1Oz)
(Section winner) Mark Walton (44lb 10Oz)
(Section winner) Steve O’Reilly (29lb 14Oz)
