Match 8 – Home Farm Fisheries – 21st September 2019 – 15 fished
A very wet start, with thunder and lightening from about 5.30am was not a way to pack the car ready for a fishing match.
On arrival we noticed some of the pegging has been upgraded (and some hadn’t) so a quick walk around and the pegs were picked.
The rain stopped just in time to start setting up and with just a quick down pour at lunchtime we did very well.
Slow start today for every except this weeks winner, who started catching decent stamp of fish from the off, and didn’t stop, even snapping the end off his rod didn’t stop him from bagging.
With no moaning from most about their peg, all looked for a good day.
The carp were very fierce, with quite a few snapping lines. But overall it was a very good day.
#cockofthematch was is split over 3 people this week. Scott for turning up to a match with NO nets ! Rob for managing to catch a moorhen (no they don’t get weighed) and our usual cock Rick for managing to throw back one of John’s carp before it was weighed in…
1st – R Hill – £50
2nd – S Harding – £25
3rd – R Golden – £15
Next match is at Old Hough, Upper Benbo in Middewich.
